have you ever come to a realization?

Two years ago, I took a break from my corporate lawyer role at a major international financial firm, sensing the need for change. I embarked on a three-month journey to South America, which began with running a marathon in the Colombian mountains and led me to a tranquil national park in northern Colombia. In that remote place, disconnected from the world without social media or work emails, I discovered a deeper perspective on life beyond our everyday routines.

It was during this time that I gained valuable insights into my life, and how I lived it in the small city of Stockholm. Viewing my life from a higher perspective allowed me to identify the actions necessary for a different future.

I also realized that not making a decision is, in itself, an active choice. Contemplating a potential return to my high-profile job, I considered the possibility of becoming the CEO in ten years. However, I questioned if that was the life I truly desired, to return to the everyday routines we so often get stuck in. Recognizing that it wasn't the reality I wanted, I made the significant decision to return home and resign from my job.

what inspires you?

I get inspiration from everywhere, all the time. Every person I meet daily can inspire me in one way or another.

My list of role models is so long. It's impossible to summarize; I have role models in absolutely everything. The biggest role model is my mom. She has taught me everything about family, life's priorities, why it's so important to stick together, and what really should be able to stress a person and what shouldn't. We often walk around being unnecessarily stressed when we really don't need to be. My mom has taught me a lot about reminding myself of what's truly important in life.

what motivates you?

I am extremely motivated by the idea of becoming an improved version. And I'm not talking about next year or in five years, but maybe tomorrow, maybe tonight, the next hour, or perhaps the next quarter. Just put on a smile and become the best version of yourself possible.

I love mental boundaries, the ability to find my capacity to control the expansion of my mental limits, that's where the magic happens. It's also where, when I find myself in that range, pushing something beyond my mental limits, I feel most alive and have the strongest connection with every molecule in my body, and endorphins are pumping through my system. Being in that range where I push to the next level drives me immensely. To get there, you need to try new things, set goals that scare you, and act, plain and simple.
